This individual will be responsible for receiving stock, maintaining inventory, pulling & distributing parts orders, UPS shipments & processing paperwork. Other duties include packing panels for shipment.

Excellent communication & organizational skills, detail orientated, PC skills, leadership qualities, & the willingness & capability to advance to the next level. The ability to drive a forklift and lift and carry 50- 75 lbs. are  also required

Job Description

American Panel Corporation is a growing local manufacturer of commercial refrigeration equipment. We are seeking an individual to supervise the installation of equipment in the field, repair equipment in the field, investigate and resolve customer reports of technical problems with equipment, and eliminate future operational or service difficulties.

The successful candidate will possess the following skills and abilities:

  • One year certificate from a college or technical school or related experience and/or training.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively with customers and employees of the organization.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
  • Skilled with MS Office, Internet and Email
  • Type 25cwpm
  • EPA Universal License
  • Capable and willing to travel to domestic and international locations for service or installation activities

General Production Worker

Job Description:
Production workers needed in the manufacturing of walk in coolers and freezers. Openings are available in assembly.

Requirements:

  • Requires lifting and carrying 50 - 75 lbs.
  • Standing and walking 8 - 10 hours per day.

Inside Sales Associate

Summary:
Inside Sales, Estimating, Provide Price Quotations to Customers. Responsible for inside sales activities which includes providing quotations and product information to customers by performing the following duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Answer incoming sales calls and act as an information center for customers, sales representatives, dealers and national accounts

  • Process orders by gathering all necessary information and initiates paperwork and drawings for all files.
  • Generate pricing and requisitions for buy-out of items from manufacturers parallel to our product.
  • Solicit and receive bids for subcontract refrigeration work
  • Calculate pricing for walk-ins and refrigeration systems and estimate date of deliver based on production schedule
  • Distribute correspondence to customers; letters, price quotations, sales literature, etc.
  • Follow customer orders from inception to installation to ensure complete customer satisfaction
  • Participate in ongoing training of self and new hires.
  • Attend trade shows and meet with customers to promote products.
  • Estimate date of delivery to customers, based on knowledge of own form's production and delivery schedules.
  • Initiate change orders.

Full time position

Refrigeration Assembler

Position Summary:
Assemble refrigeration units in accordance with specifications. Responsible for testing units as well as crating units for shipment.
Requirements:

  • Minimum of 6 months or previous related experience building/assembling refrigeration equipment
  • EPA Type II or Universal License
  • Must be 18 or older- Hazardous Occupation Classification due to equipment used

Requirements:

  • 1 year of Drafting experience and or education plus AutoCAD experience (Employer conducts pre-employment skills testing)
  • The ability to conceptualize in 3D
  • Minimum 6 months of spread sheet experience
  • Mechanical and mathematical ability (Employer will conduct pre-employment testing)
  • AutoCAD
  • Four year degree in mechanical engineering preferred

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Prepare production and customer drawings per customer acknowledgment or pre-release.
  • Create and provide the necessary drafting and production documentation to the plant consistent with the specifications as outlined in the acknowledgment or pre-release.
  • Effectively communicate with sales, production, and supervision concerning technical functional questions. Serve as liaison between engineering and production.

Work Schedule:  Full time position, 8AM-5PM Mon-Fri w/ overtime as needed

Salary:  $15.00 - $19.00 per hour.
